This page ranks every major Game Pass in Voxel Block Builder from S to D using builder value, convenience, and cosmetics. Ranking criteria (read before you argue)

A pass can score high on one axis and mid on another. Final letter grades blend all three for a typical dedicated builder. Pure collectors may bump cosmetic passes up one letter; pure efficiency grinders may bump mobility and mining instead.

S-Tier

Fly Ability [OP] — 299 Robux

Why S: Flight changes vertical builds, sky bridges, floating islands, and mid-air review of large structures. On keyboard you use F; mobile players get the touch equivalent. Once you regularly build taller than a small house, walking everything becomes the bottleneck—not block choice. Fly also helps when you mine mistakes high up without cascading falls or awkward camera fights.

Tradeoff: Highest price on the board. If you mostly build flat plazas or small furniture sets, you may feel the cost before you feel the power. Still, for anyone chasing ambitious Personal World landmarks, this is the clearest “I build more because of this” purchase.

A-Tier

Bombastic Pickaxe — 99 Robux

Why A: 2x mining distance sounds modest until you spend an evening carving interiors, tunneling under a plaza, or deleting a failed wing of a castle. Edit speed is builder power. Compared with Fly, it is cheaper and helps horizontal revisions as much as vertical ones.

Tradeoff: It does not add new blocks or spaces. If your builds are tiny and rarely revised, skip it. If you iterate constantly, it punches above its price.

Rainbow Block Pack — 199 Robux

Why A: A full rainbow palette is a creative multiplier. Many showcase builds sell the vibe through color rhythm more than geometry. Rainbow sits at the top of cosmetic options and competes with waiting on weekly blocks. Details and pack-versus-free debate live on the Block Pack Tier List.

Tradeoff: Price is second only to Fly. If your style is monochrome stone or earth tones, the pack’s value drops.

B-Tier

Colored Glass Pack — 89 Robux

Why B (high B): Glass sells modern houses, aquariums, greenhouses, and neon nightlife scenes. At 89 it is a strong mid-spend cosmetic. It loses a letter to Rainbow only because Rainbow covers more general builds; glass is more specialized—and specialty is powerful when you know you want it.

2x Sprint Speed — 49 Robux

Why B: Cheap convenience. Sprinting across large Personal Worlds and public maps saves annoyance. It is not transformative like Fly, but it is easy to recommend as a first purchase for players who hate walking.

Tradeoff: Zero new materials. If Robux are tight and you already plan Fly, sprint becomes optional.

The Blue Dimension — 29 Robux

Why B: Lowest price for an exclusive blue dimension area. That is real builder value: a themed space you cannot casually enter without the pass. Great for blue-only galleries, lore rooms, or “members” build clubs on co-op nights. See Blue Dimension for usage ideas.

Tradeoff: Theme-locked. If you dislike blue palettes, the exclusivity does nothing for you. Still excellent as a low-risk experiment.

C-Tier

Nothing is permanently stuck in C today if you value its niche—but we reserve C for “buy only when the fantasy matches.” Example mindset: you already own Fly and Bombastic, you dislike bright cosmetics, and you only want Sprint “someday.” In that personal context Sprint can feel like C even though the global list parks it at B.

Use C as your personal parking zone for passes that do not match your current project. Re-rank after each big Personal World theme change.

D-Tier

D means skip for now—not “never.” A pass lands here when you would not use its fantasy in the next month. New players who have not finished Getting Started should treat all paid options as D until the free loop is comfortable. That temporary D ranking protects Robux more than any chart.

Suggested buy paths

Vertical architect: Fly → Bombastic → Rainbow or Glass.
Palette artist: Rainbow → Glass → Blue Dimension → Sprint.
Budget editor: Blue Dimension → Sprint → Bombastic → wait on Fly.
Co-op host (public, max 18): Sprint or Fly for herding friends, then Blue Dimension as a clubhouse, then cosmetics for group branding.

Myths to ignore

• “Most expensive is always best.” Fly is S for many, not for flat-pack furniture makers.
• “Cosmetics are useless.” In a builder, cosmetics are content.
• “Blue Dimension is too cheap to matter.” Exclusive space is rare; 29 Robux for a themed zone is efficient.
• “Pickaxe is only for mining games.” Here mining is the undo button and the sculpting tool.

Revisit this tier list after each weekly block drop. Free palette growth can demote a cosmetic pack one letter for your personal goals without the store prices changing at all.

Final check before purchase: open your latest Personal World, name the next three builds you actually want, and buy the single pass that unblocks the hardest of those three. If you cannot name the builds, close the store and place free blocks for another hour—clarity beats impulse every time.
